How to add captions to pictures

In most Microsoft programs you can add a caption to a picture, photograph or graphic.

To do this, right mouse click on the picture or photo, and select Insert caption from the shortcut menu.  This will open the Caption dialog box where you can make various selections and type the caption or your choice.

Note: By ticking the Exclude label from caption box, Figure 1 will be excluded from the text.

Once you add a caption, you can edit or format the text
by clicking on the text.

Once selected you can also use the paragraph group or dialog box to centre or left align caption under photograph or picture.

Happy captioning!
